No one will ever be satisfied and no soul will ever be calm as long as there is loss and suffering. Some suggest that suffering and hardship offer humanity greater opportunity to come to know God. I suggest that this is Completely False and that suffering and hardship do in fact, offer one the opportunity to learn compassion and understanding but in no way would we wish for more suffering in this god forsaken world, or for others to suffer in order to accept them into our stupid sadistic Salvation Club. And in no way is this suffering ever equalized or proportionate. Losing a lover because he’s a Disrespectful Lying Asshole but you loved him anyway doesn’t equal losing your entire family in Senseless Wars. But both might make you want to Die. |
